There were 16 grievances filed in 2002. There were an additional 5 cases that were carried over from 2001 and resolved in 2002. There are 5 cases that remained open at year’s end.

The Renal Network logged 82 facility concerns. Including primary and secondary concerns, the categories of facility concerns for 2002 were:

*         Includes threatening behavior, no shows or not staying for full treatment, holding chairs for patients hospitalized, no financial means to pay for treatment, no facility willing to accept dismissed patients.
