Convention - 2001 WHEN: August 30 - September 2, 2001 WHERE: Peabody Hotel, Memphis, Tennessee Presented By: The American Association of Kidney Patients PURPOSE: The American Association of Kidney Patients (AAKP) has chosen Memphis, Tennessee as the host city for its 28th Annual Convention, August 30 through September 2, 2001 at the historic Peabody Hotel. AAKP devotes it Annual Convention to providing a wide variety of educational sessions to renal patients and their family members. During this three-day event, attendees can expect to hear about topics such as financial issues, treatment options, legislative developments, and many other timely healthcare issues. REGISTRATION: The Convention flyer will be available in May 2001 and will include the agenda and details on reservations and dialysis arrangements. Visitors to AAKP's Web site www.aakp.org can register to join the Convention mailing list.
