  • ANA Immuninize American Nurses Association (ANA) Bringing Immunity to Every Community initiative is a two-year cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to promote immunizations among nurses and their surrounding communities. http://www.anaimmunize.org/
  • ANA Influenza Toolkit The American Nurses Association has many resources specific to increasing healthcare workers immunization rates. Included on their web site is the ANA Influenza Toolkit that is a compilation of 2010-2011 influenza season resources.   • MMWR  on the Prevention and Control of Influenza with Vaccines Released on July 29, 2010, the 2010 recommendations of the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices include new and updated information on the prevention and control of influenza.

  • CMS Initiatives On Adult Immunizations http://www.cms.hhs.gov/AdultImmunizations/05_CMS Initiatives.asp CMS identified increasing influenza and pneumococcal immunizations in end stage renal disease (ESRD) facilities as an immunization "breakthrough" initiative in 2005.
